Plyometrics :- Plyometric training is a series of quick and powerful movements called the “stretch-shortening cycle (SSC).” It starts with an eccentric (muscle lengthening) contraction followed by a concentric (muscle shortening) contraction. This method trains a muscle to move from a muscle extension to a contraction quickly and powerfully, resulting in increased power and explosiveness (speed-strength).

Box Jumps :- Box jumps are one of the main exercises in plyometric training or jump training. It has a variety of fitness goals, such as power or endurance. You can build explosive power and speed using a high box (30”), aim for three to four sets of 5 reps with a few minutes rest in between sets. As for fat burning and building cardio endurance, use a lower box (20”) and do three to four sets of up to 20 reps, resting for up to a minute between sets.
