A concrete mixer (also cement mixer) is a device that homogeneously combines cement, aggregate (e.g. sand or gravel), and water to form concrete. A typical concrete mixer uses a revolving drum to mix the components. A concrete mixer is a machine used in construction to mix cement, water, and other materials such as sand, gravel, and sometimes additives, to make concrete. These concrete mixers are volumetric mixers and measure raw materials using volume rather than weight. There is not a minimum amount that needs to be produced. Ingredients are mixed on site and only to the specific amount that's required.
