Plaster of Paris Bandage - Material: Made from a blend of plaster of Paris and gauze. The plaster of Paris is a quick-setting material that hardens upon contact with water, while the gauze provides the structural framework for easy application and molding. Construction: The bandage consists of a gauze strip that is impregnated with powdered plaster of Paris. When moistened with water, the plaster activates and begins to set, allowing the bandage to mold to the shape of the body part being treated.
