FIBC Bags, also known as Jumbo Bags/ Bulk Bags /Super Sacks / Big Bags are one of the most cost effective types of packing for storage and transportation. FIBC Bags are currently used in industries including fertilizer, cement, sand, food grains, sugar, cattle feed, fish meal, pulses, spices, dates, agro products,Potatoes, onions, minerals, resin, polymers, rubber, etc. Manufactured from tubular or flat woven fabric, these bags have a large storage capacity. These bags are custom designed as per the client's requirement, thus offering a wide range of bags to choose from. We offer bags for both single-trip (5:1) and multi-trip (6:1 or 8:1) purposes. Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) are large, durable, woven polypropylene bags designed for storing and transporting dry, flowable products like grains, sand, and chemicals. Used in agriculture, construction, chemicals, food, and recycling, FIBCs are cost-effective, space-efficient, and environmentally friendly. Their manufacturing involves cutting and weaving polypropylene fabric, sewing the parts together, and optional lamination for moisture protection. There are four main types: Type A (standard), Type B (low breakdown voltage), Type C (conductive with grounding), and Type D (static dissipative without grounding). Safety involves proper handling, regular inspections, and using the correct bag type to prevent static discharge and ensure integrity.
Flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs), also known as “big bags,” “bulk bags,” and “bulk sacks,” were first manufactured in the late 1950s or early 1960s. There is some controversy as to where the first FIBCs were made; however, it is known that FIBCs were made in the United States, Europe, and Japan during the time period mentioned above. The first FIBCs were constructed with heavy-duty PVC-coated nylon or polyester where the cut sheets are welded together to form the FIBC. These FIBCs were made with integrated lift slings around the container, or attached to a specially made pallet, or a metal lifting device that the container sat on. The handling devices allowed the container to be filled from the top and discharged from the bottom.
These Bulk Bags/ FIBC Bags are made from circular/ tubular woven fabric on 8 shuttle looms. The circular fabric is with a reinforcement panel on the body of the fabric. These bags are with cross corner loop attachment and the loops are attached on the reinforcement panel on the fabric. The normal width of these bags is 180 cms double lay flat (tubular) but we can provide circular bags with max width of 210 cms, double lay flat. These bags can be supplied in various filling and discharge options for various duty conditions.
Four Panel Baffle Bags A 4-Panel Bulk bag derives its name directly from its construction design. In this type of bulk bag, the 4 sides are constructed from 4 separate fabric panels which are stitched together at the edges with each other. A separate piece of panel is used to make the square bottom of the bag. According to the weight, the bag’s panels may or may not be hemmed. Hemmed edges are known to provide better support and maintain the square shape of the bag efficiently. The 4-Panel Bulk Bag is the ideal choice for industries that require packing, storing and transporting mainly solid and uniform shaped products mostly. With stronger materials, finer type of substances can also be easily transported due to the square shape of the bag.
