Turmeric is obtained from the rhizomes(underground stem grown horizontally) of the curcuma longa plant. Rhizomes take around 6 to 8 months to develop fully. Its harvested manually by digging out rhizomes after cutting the leafy tops and then separating finger rhizomes from the mother rhizome(bulb). After separation and grading they are boiled, dried and polished.
We ensure quality control in the entire value chain from farm to folk ,starting right from the primary production until the product or commodity reaches the final consumer.
