Turmeric, Curcuma longa a plant in the ginger family, Zingiberaceae, native to Southeast Asia and is grown
commercially in that region, primarily in India. Its rhizome (underground stem) is used as a culinary spice,
botanical colorant, natural dye, herbal cosmetic, and traditional medicine.
The rhizomes are used as fresh or as dried after curing process. Dried rhizomes are ground into a deep orangeyellow powder. Turmeric powder has a warm, bitter flavor and earthy arom.Product is routinely checked for Aflatoxin and Ochratoxin and it complies with the regulations of the
destination country.
